Susan Schulenberg Kiel is the Broker/Owner of United Country Real Estate | Market Realty, specializing in land, farm & ranch properties, and country homes throughout South Central Texas. With two decades of experience, Susan combines deep local roots, a strong construction background, and a passion for the rural lifestyle to help buyers and sellers achieve their goals.
Raised on a small cattle ranch in Burton, Texas, Susan learned the value of hard work early — from fixing fence and feeding cattle to roofing, painting, and working alongside her contractor father. After earning degrees from Burton High School, Blinn College, and Texas A&M University, she spent five years designing and building custom cabinetry before transitioning full‑time into real estate. She earned her real estate license in 2006, her Broker’s license in 2010, and purchased Market Realty in 2022.
Susan is known for her dedication, integrity, and unmatched knowledge of Washington County and the scenic corridor between Houston and Austin.
In addition to her real estate career, Susan is President of the Burton Heritage Society, Secretary of the Burton Chamber of Commerce, and an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Rehburg. She is married and has one son.
